QuickerSkillsTerms of Service
Last updated: 14 July 2026
These terms are a contract between you and QuickerSkills (“QuickerSkills”, “we”, “us”) covering your use of quickerskills.com and our apps (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What QuickerSkills is
QuickerSkills is a training and career-support platform. We provide online courses (including accredited e-learning delivered by third-party providers such as Highfield), an AI career coach (“Nudge”), CV-building tools, and support getting compliance such as DBS checks arranged.
2. Your account
You must give accurate details, keep your password secure, and be at least 16. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, abuse the Service, or act unlawfully.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans (such as Essentials and Gateway) bill monthly through Stripe until cancelled. Where a free trial is offered, your card is charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel first. You can cancel any time from Billing; access continues to the end of the paid period. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are not refunded.
We may change subscription prices. Price changes never apply mid-cycle: your existing price continues until we give you at least 14 days’ notice, and any new price only takes effect from a later renewal. If you don’t accept a change, cancel before it takes effect.
4. One-off course purchases
Some courses are bought individually. Prices shown include VAT where applicable. By starting a purchased digital course you ask us to supply it immediately and acknowledge that you lose the statutory 14-day cancellation right for digital content once it has been accessed. Unaccessed courses can be refunded within 14 days of purchase; contact team@quickerskills.com.
Accredited courses (for example Highfield e-learning) are delivered under the awarding provider’s own rules; certificates are issued on successful completion.
5. AI features
Nudge and our other AI features generate guidance automatically. They can make mistakes, and their output is general information, not professional, legal, medical, immigration or financial advice. Check important facts before relying on them. AI usage is subject to fair-use allowances shown in the app.
6. DBS and compliance support
We help arrange checks such as an enhanced DBS but we are not the issuing body, and we cannot guarantee timescales or outcomes. Fees paid to third parties for checks are not refundable by us.
7. Referrals and rewards
Referral rewards accrue when a referred friend becomes a paying subscriber, and can be cashed out once your balance reaches the stated minimum, by bank transfer to a UK account in your name. We may withhold rewards from self-referrals, fraud, or abuse, and may change or end the referral scheme at any time (accrued rewards are honoured).
8. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the Service: no unlawful content, no attempts to break, probe or overload it, no scraping, no sharing your account, no cheating assessments, and no using the AI features to generate harmful or unlawful content.
9. Content and intellectual property
The Service and its content belong to us or our licensors. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it. Certificates evidence your completion but course content may not be copied or resold. You keep ownership of content you upload (like a CV) and give us permission to process it to provide the Service.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence). Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or loss of data beyond our control. The Service is provided “as is” and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that training leads to any particular job outcome.
11. Changes and ending the Service
We improve the Service constantly and may change or withdraw features. We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app or by email, and continuing to use the Service after they take effect means you accept them.
12. General
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction (consumers keep any mandatory protections of their home country within the UK). If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Questions? Contact team@quickerskills.com.
