Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 July 2026

This policy explains what personal data QuickerSkills collects, why, and your rights under UK GDPR. QuickerSkills is the data controller; contact us at team@quickerskills.com.

1. What we collect

Account details (name, email, password), onboarding answers (the kind of work you want, roles, nationality for right-to-work support, phone), learning records (enrolments, progress, quiz attempts, certificates), your CV if you upload or build one, messages you send to Nudge, payment records via Stripe (we never see your full card number), referral activity and, if you request a cash-out, the bank details you give us (stored encrypted). We also collect basic usage data such as when you were last online.

2. How we use it

To run the Service: build your personalised path, deliver courses and certificates, power Nudge and the CV builder, take payments, arrange checks you ask for (like a DBS), send service emails (and, with an unsubscribe option, occasional updates), pay referral rewards, keep the platform secure, and meet legal obligations. Our lawful bases are performing our contract with you, legitimate interests, consent where required, and legal obligation.

3. AI processing

Messages you send Nudge, and CV content you ask us to work on, are processed by our AI providers (such as Anthropic) to generate the response. They are used to provide the feature, not to train those providers’ models.

4. Who we share with

Trusted processors only, under contract: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email, including delivery/open events), Anthropic (AI), and accredited training providers such as Highfield when you take one of their courses. If you ask us to arrange a DBS or similar check, we share the details needed with the relevant provider. We never sell your data.

5. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. Certificates and purchase records are kept as long as needed for accreditation and tax rules. If you delete your account (or ask us to), personal data is deleted or anonymised except where we must keep it by law. Cash-out bank details are kept only as long as needed to make and evidence the payment.

6. Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email team@quickerskills.com and we’ll respond within a month. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

7. Security and cookies

Data is encrypted in transit, access is role-restricted, and sensitive fields (like cash-out bank details) are additionally encrypted at rest. We use only the cookies needed to sign you in and remember preferences like your theme; we don’t run third-party advertising cookies.

8. Changes

We’ll post any changes here and, if they are significant, tell you in the app or by email.
